Meeting all of our Guests has been the highlight of running this new Bed and Breakfast venture. Your kind and appreciative comments have been an inspiration to continue serving travelers to the area any month of the year. Our goal is, and will continue to be, making you feel like this is your home away from home. We are open all year and our outdoor jacuzzi continues to be an amenity our guests truly love ... especially as the temperatures drop outdoors. There's nothing more invigorating than watching the stars on a clear night or snowflakes falling while being immersed in 101 degree water. We supply plush terrycloth robes to guests so they have something to wrap up in when coming and going to the secluded spa in the garden. If you are a business traveler tired of hotel/motel row, maybe you are seeking out a romantic couple's getaway destination, or are looking forward to escaping with your family away from your everyday routine in the coming months, we are here to fulfill your needs. Many honeymoon & anniversary couples have already decided to make this their yearly celebration destination. Our breakfasts have been highly praised by all.

DOWNHILL & CROSS COUNTRY SKIING/SNOWBOARD & SNOWSHOEING IS HERE! Winter snow has arrived and it's beautiful. Just in time to cover the browning landscape and brighten up the upcoming holidays. Distance to Ski Resorts: The Homestead (1.5 miles); Crystal Mountain (33 miles); Shanty Creek (63 miles); Caberfae Peaks (61 miles); Boyne Mountain (85 miles); Boyne Highlands (99 miles) and Nubs Nob (99 miles). Numerous Cross Country ski trails within a 10 miles radius of Guest House.

GLEN LAKE GUEST HOUSE is located in Michigan's Leelanau Peninsula on the East side of Big Glen Lake in the midst of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park. The village of Glen Arbor, 3 miles down the road, sits on the Sleeping Bear Bay where million-dollar sunsets can be experienced nightly in the summer. The Guest House includes 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and accommodates up to 8 people. Amenities include your own Guest Kitchen , a Great Room with gas fireplace and cable TV, Wi-Fi, Guest Office with computer and wireless printer, Guest Phone, Laundry Room with clothes steamer and ironing board, Outdoor Pool and Outdoor Jacuzzi. Cable TV is also available in each of the guest bedrooms. Rooms have keyed entries, while the loft has a keyed room for secure storage.

Start the day with a breakfast of your choosing from our breakfast menu and served at the time you designate. We realize guests diversity includes some enjoying sleeping in and others are ready to start their day earlier. Follow breakfast with activities of your choice, be it a National Park visit, village shopping, the peninsula's numerous wineries, peninsula art galleries, a day of golf or skiing depending on the season, charter fishing, numerous festivals, a scenic historic drive, or a nature walk. OR... stay at the Guest House and enjoy the outdoor pool in summer or outdoor jacuzzi on a cold winter's day or night, followed by a fine dining experience at one of our local restaurants. Watch the sunset over the bay and then return to the Guest House for an outdoor campfire or curl up with a good book near the gas fireplace flames.
